Wow is it hot today, I’m not gonna lie it’s been another v tricky week, for reasons I will reveal soon but in the meantime what gets me through is chilled walks in the woods and helping others, and that was certainly the case today with the new recruits for @life_aftercancer 6 week course that I started delivering today, all by myself! 😂 and as always it was brilliant to meet everyone and just be there to support them through their next steps, after cancer treatment.
Had such a fab family holiday, much needed fun and chill time,
Ahhhh it’s good to be abroad, even after a nightmare plane journey that involved a 3 hr delay and a thud of a landing and being surrounded by fire engines, thanks to the wing flaps not working!
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a fascination with the sea. Like my daughter, I was a swimmer as a child, albeit not as good or competitive, but I loved to swim in the sea too. Maybe it’s the Aquarian in me, but I could literally stare at the sea for hours and never get bored.
Today has been all about understanding what stories we tell ourselves on a daily basis and the effect they have on our lives without necessarily knowing it. This was of course via the @life_aftercancer online six week coaching programme, that myself and my fellow @noorworks recently trained coach, Sherine have been learning from Steph, the founder who created it to provide post cancer support to those who need it.
Hi everyone, how you all doing on this heat, it’s crazy huh? Interesting times trying to cope with it, the aga is off and we are using a camping stove lol but it does the trick, plus misting ourselves with the plant spray!
